Job Summary

Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair road and off-road bulk-handling equipment. Dismantle and repair heavy machinery (diesel/gas engines, electric motors, hydraulic/pneumatic attachments, control systems, fuel and brake systems), perform preventive maintenance, and lubricate moving parts. Use tools and equipment (cutting torch, welder, forklift, power tools, meters) and work from blueprints or instructions. Follow safety/environmental procedures, complete documentation, attend safety meetings, and respond to emergency call-outs.

Key Responsibilities

•Dismantle and repair heavy equipment, including diesel and gas engines, electric motors and generators, and related attachments and systems.
•Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical engines, vehicles, and bulk-handling equipment.
•Diagnose problems and make repairs to heavy equipment such as cranes, loaders, and dozers.
•Operate tools and equipment (e.g., cutting torch, welder, forklift, power tools, electric meters) and work from blueprints or instructions.
