Job Summary

Build and design large-scale ML algorithms to model real-time creator interests and improve conversion efficiency for TikTok’s e-commerce ecosystem. Optimize relationship mining, ranking, and recall for personalized product recommendations to drive GMV. Use massive unstructured real-time data to develop scalable AI/ML models, run experiments to validate performance, and debug deployed systems using statistics, scripting, and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and design large-scale machine learning algorithms to model real-time interests of creators to improve conversion efficiency.
•Optimize commodity relationship mining, ranking, and recall for creator product recommendations to improve overall platform GMV.
•Analyze behavior of creators and merchants using large-scale data to build targeted algorithm strategies that improve monetization efficiency and support industrial upgrading.
•Support scalable and optimized AI/ML model production and deployment using algorithms based on extraction, transformation, and loading of large volumes of real-time unstructured data.
•Run experiments to test deployed model performance, identify and resolve bugs, and work with deployed software platforms.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
•Experience in C++ and Python.
•Proficiency in at least one big data tool (e.g., Hive SQL, Spark, MapReduce) and at least one deep learning tool (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
•Applied machine learning experience with recommendation algorithms such as collaborative filtering, matrix factorization, factorization machines, Word2vec, logistic regression, gradient boosting trees, and deep neural networks.
•Industry experience in personalized recommendation, online advertising, information retrieval, or related fields.
