Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical strategy and architecture across Rovo Chat, Rovo Search, Growth, and Rovo Apps & Clients, ensuring scalable, reliable, secure, and cohesive experiences.
  • •Shape the convergence of Search and Chat by creating shared patterns and capabilities for multi-step interactions and actionable outcomes.
  • •Drive the development of rich, reusable experience foundations that work across Atlassian products and third-party tools to reduce fragmentation.
  • •Partner with product, design, data science, machine learning, and engineering leaders to define and deliver a roadmap for high-impact Rovo experiences.
  • •Standardize and mechanize how AI experiences are developed and deployed, moving from one-off implementations toward scalable, composable, repeatable approaches.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 202,437 - 318,425 annually

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of software engineering experience with deep platform and product engineering expertise at scale.
  • •Experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and user-facing applications.
  • •Deep product engineering background, ideally including platform environments at scale.
  • •Full stack experience preferred, or strong back-end skills with front-end capability.
  • •Proven ability to lead multi-year, cross-org technical initiatives delivering business outcomes.
