Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect, repair, and maintain assets and equipment to minimize adverse impact on production.
  • •Support and assist maintenance jobs of servicepersons when required.
  • •Perform condition monitoring, fault finding, and problem solving on mechanical, electrical, and PCS equipment during shift duties.
  • •Take technical ownership of breakdown situations and manage corrective work up to resolution or escalation.
  • •Record job statistics and comply with SHEQ and technical requirements, meeting plant availability targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to safety for yourself and the team.
  • •Matric (with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science) or N3 (with all four subjects), with certificates attached.
  • •Millwright Trade Test qualification, with certificate attached.
  • •Valid South African Drivers’ License, with certificate attached.
  • •5 years practical work experience post millwright trade test within a heavy industry environment, with exposure to maintenance of general plant equipment.
