Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement new capabilities in the FortiDLP endpoint agent, taking ownership and leading development of features.
  • •Maintain and improve existing functionality of the FortiDLP agent.
  • •Contribute to code and tests, and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards.
  • •Ensure code quality, maintainability, and secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • •Collaborate closely with teams across endpoint, product management, technical writing, support, and QA to coordinate progress and support releases.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills.
  • •Strong computer science fundamentals and familiarity with systems/kernel-level development concepts.
  • •Software development experience with Go, C, C++, Java, Scala, C#, or Swift (Go knowledge not required).
  • •Experience with kernel and device driver development for Windows, Linux, or Mac.
  • •Security fundamentals including PKI, certificates, and cryptography, with a focus on secure coding practices.
