Job Summary

Lead the ML and AI Platform domain within the Data Platform tribe, defining a unified vision, strategy, and roadmap for Delivery Hero’s end-to-end MLOps platform. Build and continuously improve platform architecture and operations, establish KPIs and SLOs for reliability, scalability, performance, and cost, and evangelize MLOps practices. Manage and grow technical teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive adoption across business units to increase AI innovation velocity and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Delivery Hero’s unified ML and AI platform, aligning it with business, product, and global tech goals.
•Oversee creation and continuous improvement of an end-to-end MLOps platform, including target architecture, technology stack, and operational model.
•Establish and monitor KPIs and SLOs for platform reliability, scalability, performance, cost-effectiveness, and internal customer satisfaction.
•Build, lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams, cultivating an engineering culture focused on innovation, collaboration, ownership, agility, and continuous learning.
•Serve as a primary technology partner to global stakeholders, influence cross-functional teams and executives, secure buy-in, and drive adoption of platform capabilities and standards.

Key Requirements

•10+ years leading Data & ML efforts in high-growth tech, with hands-on design and operation of MLOps platforms.
•Expertise across the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including CI/CD for ML, deployment pipelines, monitoring, feature stores, and scalable serving.
•Strong DevOps understanding with CI/CD tooling, plus experience with infrastructure-as-code, Docker, and Kubernetes.
•5+ years in leadership roles across cross-functional, globally distributed teams, driving organizational change and adoption of new technologies.
•Familiarity with hyperscaler MLOps offerings and deep knowledge of AI/ML trends (including Generative AI; LLMs and RAG are a plus).
