Job Summary

Lead change control for a nationally significant Defence program within a client-side Project Controls team in Adelaide. Manage and analyze project and program variations and emerging trends, coordinate integrated baseline management, and ensure timely, robust impact assessments across cost, schedule, and risk. Embed new change processes within a newly established Change Control Team, provide strategic insights on risks and opportunities, and grow internal capability through training and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

•Own change control within the project or program area, including tracking, reporting, and analysis of variations and emerging trends.
•Embed and support newly formed change processes and procedures within the Change Control Team under Project Controls.
•Provide strategic insights to the client by identifying risks, opportunities, and impacts arising from change activity.
•Coordinate integrated baseline management exercises throughout the program lifecycle.
•Assess program change/variation requests and ensure timely impact assessments across cost, schedule, and risk, collaborating with Project Controls, Commercial, and Finance teams.

Key Requirements

•Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain (or current hold) an Australian Baseline Security Clearance, or be a UK Citizen with current UK clearance.
•Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across PMO and delivery teams.
•Comprehensive understanding of change control, cost planning, scheduling, and risk management principles.
•Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes, including integrated baseline management exercises.
•Relevant degree and professional qualifications (e.g., P30, Prince2, MSP, APM PMQ, PPQ, CHPPM or equivalent) are required; Contruent (formerly Prism) is highly desirable.
