Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deploy detections using modern engineering practices (testing/validation, CI/CD pipelines, detections as code, detection development lifecycle) including rules-based and AI-assisted detections
  • •Mature the threat detection program by identifying gaps and mitigating risks through detective controls and AI/ML approaches
  • •Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders to provide detection-as-a-service with reusable components and AI-enhanced detections
  • •Continuously measure and improve detection quality (coverage, precision/recall, false positives, latency)
  • •Design and build automations and AI-driven workflows to enhance security posture and reduce mean time to detect and respond

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 174,800

Key Requirements

  • •Security engineering experience in threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, product security, or related disciplines
  • •Strong coding skills (Python, Go, etc.) with interest in applying to AI/ML-driven detection and automation
  • •Experience collaborating with security teams and stakeholders
  • •Ability to review and analyze logging and observability requirements for detection and response
  • •Risk-based security mindset prioritizing initiatives and understanding when AI adds value over rules-based approaches
