Key Responsibilities

  • •Write functional and design specifications for Linux drivers and APIs to manage hardware devices and implement them.
  • •Independently implement solutions for EOS and related software using C, C++, and Python.
  • •Create test plan specifications and implement automated test programs to execute test cases.
  • •Debug issues found by automated test programs and fix problems.
  • •Collaborate with customer support and system test engineers to analyze problems and provide fixes via software releases or patches; mentor new/junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering + 12 years, or MS + 10 years, or PhD + 7 years, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
  • •Hands-on experience working with open source software.
  • •Experience writing Linux drivers and APIs to manage hardware or software resources.
  • •Experience using and debugging open source software libraries and other software used in development.
