Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform deeper L1 troubleshooting across interface utilization/errors analysis, routing checks, VPN tunnel state, and read-only firewall rule verification
  • •Own incident tickets until resolution or justified escalation
  • •Coordinate with ISPs to troubleshoot WAN link issues including CRC errors, flaps, and latency
  • •Assist in executing standard changes under guidance (port configuration and VLAN assignment) and support planned maintenance pre/post validation
  • •Mentor G4 engineers and review their ticket quality while maintaining network documentation and runbooks

Key Requirements

  • •Foundational hands-on expertise in network security operations
  • •Ability to resolve moderately complex issues and stabilize incidents before escalating
