  • •Evaluate qualified sources/products to recommend materials to Design Engineering to achieve savings, lead-time reductions, system improvements, and/or risk mitigation.
  • •Work with new product development teams to ensure engineering drawing requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to suppliers.
  • •Participate in new product introduction to ensure suppliers are involved in developing and reviewing specifications for design for manufacturability.
  • •Lead supplier technical audits and supplier performance/capability evaluation, and drive root cause and corrective actions during quality incidents.
