Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support
  • •Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications and data sheets
  • •Liaise and collaborate with water and other discipline teams (civil, electrical, process, mechanical) nationwide
  • •Visit site to carry out surveys and support liaison with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • •Attend and contribute to design reviews (HAZOPs, HAZIDs, ALMs and SWIFTS)

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • •Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution (e.g., IMechE)
  • •Proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications and calculations with accuracy
  • •Hands-on experience delivering water and wastewater engineering projects
  • •Ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and perform site surveys to support client and contractor liaison
