Job Summary

Support Middle Market and Commercial lending opportunities in Florida by optimizing profitability across segments of the wholesale loan portfolio. Partner with segment leadership to execute credit strategy aligned to LOB targets and risk tolerance, and help strengthen a credit culture through guidance, coaching, and mentoring. Lead risk management culture and framework, ensure appropriate risk ratings, monitor portfolio performance, and manage complex credit decisions with compliance and regulatory best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a senior credit risk officer for large and complex wholesale lending or specialty business segments and advance the organization’s risk management culture, framework, and appetite.
•Provide thought leadership to develop and maintain a strong credit culture through guidance, coaching, and mentoring across LOB and Credit Delivery teams.
•Partner with segment leaders to develop and execute credit strategies, limits, and policies while managing capital deployment, risk, and concentration within delegated loan authority.
•Stay current on laws, regulations, and risk management techniques and monitor local, national, and global economic and market conditions.
•Ensure appropriate risk ratings, monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks, develop action plans, and elevate recommendations to senior executives, risk oversight committees, and regulators as requested.
