Job Summary

Support the Centralized Lending Commercial team by triaging loan applications for missing information and routing items to the correct underwriting channel. Research imaged documents, identify missing guarantors/co-borrowers, verify borrower debt and deposit details, and ensure loan files are complete and accurate. Image and upload documents/data into loan origination and underwriting systems while maintaining timely written and verbal communication with financial center personnel and underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

•Demonstrate understanding of applicable credit products and requirements to triage loan applications for missing information.
•Request, follow up, and manage collection of required financial documents for new money and renewal requests.
•Research imaged files to determine outstanding documentation needs and identify missing guarantors or co-borrowers.
•Screen loan applications for incorrect underwriting channels and evaluate submitted information for completeness and accuracy.
•Image supporting documents and upload financial data into the loan origination and underwriting systems while communicating with financial center personnel and underwriters.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
•Prior experience in credit underwriting support or a closely aligned role supporting loan functions.
•Strong written and oral communication skills, including composing emails and communicating by telephone with internal partners.
•Basic knowledge of consumer and/or commercial loan documentation and products, plus internet research methods and search engines.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook; nCinco and HMDA knowledge are preferred.
