Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, configure, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure relational database management systems with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • •Apply DISA STIGs and DoD regulations by implementing security configurations and maintaining database compliance through security hardening and patching.
  • •Remediate database security findings identified through ACAS/Tenable scans, STIG assessments, and related vulnerability/compliance outputs.
  • •Develop and optimize SQL objects and code (DML, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and T-SQL scripts) and support database performance, availability, and security.
  • •Use scripting and automation (PowerShell and T-SQL) to automate compliance checks and remediation activities, and create status reporting for leadership updates.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of related experience in database administration, information assurance, or systems administration, and U.S. citizenship required.
  • •Must currently possess an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • •Experience administering and securing Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 plus SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS in enterprise environments.
  • •Ability to interpret and implement DoD cybersecurity orders and database STIG compliance requirements.
  • •Familiarity with compliance tools and frameworks such as ACAS/Tenable, RMF, eMASS, and POA&M/STIG/CTO/IAVM concepts.
