Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the core team to develop data center electrical designs from BOD through IFC for new build-outs and major upgrades.
  • •Navigate construction and Cx issues across the power system from HV substation to MV equipment and LV branch circuits.
  • •Manage power system issues across concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and installation on site.
  • •Generate equipment scope of work for major infrastructure upgrades and update/document evolving configuration with internal teams.
  • •Manage project budgets, scheduling, contractor resource assignment, and track contractor performance including billing and contract scope, proposals, SOWs, bids, design cycle, and approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred 10 years of relevant electrical experience.
  • •Knowledge of data center and mission critical design concepts, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA safety requirements.
  • •Extensive experience with medium voltage power distribution (AIS & GIS switchgear, MV cable installation, relays, controls schematics).
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and controls schematics and diagrams.
  • •Experience with bidding, designing, operating, and commissioning electrical distribution systems from high voltage (HV) transformers to branch circuits.
