Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead architecture and design of Control-M Distributed, Control-M for z/OS (mainframe), and Control-M SaaS solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • •Define and execute migration and conversion strategies from legacy scheduling and workload automation platforms (e.g., CA7, AutoSys, IBM Workload Scheduler, Tidal, Redwood, CA 1, CA View/Deliver) to Control-M.
  • •Build and maintain SOPs, automated pre-processors, and repeatable execution paths to support concurrent migrations.
  • •Conduct customer discovery to define solution scope, architecture, and implementation approach; review and validate SOW technical feasibility.
  • •Provide technical leadership, escalation support, integration design, and architectural governance across multiple concurrent customer engagements; mentor consultants and support teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • •10+ years of experience in enterprise workload automation, infrastructure engineering, and solution architecture.
  • •Strong expertise in BMC Control-M Distributed and Control-M SaaS (design, deployment, fine-tuning, and operations).
  • •Deep hands-on experience with mainframe environments, including z/OS, Sysplex architectures, workload automation, JCL, tape management, output management, and batch processing operations.
  • •Proven experience leading migration and conversion projects from enterprise schedulers.
