Key Responsibilities

  • •Strategize, develop, and implement data privacy/protection controls and ensure compliance with policy and regulatory frameworks using a data-driven approach.
  • •Create and maintain privacy policies, strategies, and procedures; collaborate with legal and product teams to embed privacy-by-design into development lifecycles.
  • •Conduct DPIAs to identify and mitigate risks; maintain a privacy risk register and document action plans.
  • •Oversee consent management, data subject rights management (including requests and monitoring), and grievance redressal monitoring.
  • •Serve as point of contact for data protection incidents and breaches, coordinating response, statutory reporting, audits, privacy training, and remediation.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of information security experience in large financial institutions/banks with exposure to Middle East and/or EU data privacy laws/projects.
  • •5+ years within compliance, legal, audit, and/or risk functions, with recent experience implementing privacy compliance projects.
  • •Experience developing privacy policy and governance models and delivering compliance training.
  • •Proven ability to conduct PIA/DPIA assessments, manage privacy risks, and address compliance risks through audits.
  • •Minimum 1 professional certification: CIPPE, CIPM, CIPT, or CDPSE.
