Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily operations of plant utilities including HVAC, compressed air systems, boilers, chillers, and water treatment plants.
  • •Plan and execute preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime; maintain maintenance logs and equipment history.
  • •Support installation/commissioning of new utility systems and coordinate with vendors/contractors for CAPEX maintenance projects.
  • •Ensure maintenance activities follow safety, environmental, and company compliance requirements; conduct risk assessments and maintain documentation for audits.
  • •Supervise maintenance technicians/contractors and provide training on equipment handling and safety practices, including engineering documentation updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Mechanical, ITI, or a related technical field.
  • •2–4 years of hands-on experience in utility systems and maintenance operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of utility systems and maintenance best practices, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water treatment plants.
  • •Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and maintaining maintenance records/equipment history.
  • •Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations (including MPCB norms) and experience with boiler operations and coordination with Boiler Inspector.
