Job Summary

Work closely with clinic and hearing care professionals to coordinate patient care. You’ll greet patients, place outbound calls for scheduling and follow-ups, manage intake forms and patient records, confirm appointments, and complete insurance benefit checks and authorizations. Provide first-level patient support (including check-in/out and payments), process orders, handle basic equipment/repair workflows under supervision, support inventory, and assist with community outreach events.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate patient scheduling by greeting patients, placing outbound calls for follow-up tests/consultations, and scheduling/confirming appointments.
•Verify insurance benefits and complete authorizations, while collecting patient intake forms and maintaining patient files/notes.
•Provide first-level support including check-in/check-out and collecting/processing payments.
•Support clinic operations by processing patient orders, verifying pickup, and submitting equipment and facility requests.
•Handle maintenance and admin tasks such as cleaning equipment/instruments, assisting with repairs under supervision, preparing deposits and submitting daily reports, and managing inventory/supplies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent), with an associate’s degree preferred.
•Previous customer service experience is required.

•Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook; knowledge of HIPAA regulations (EMR/EHR experience is a plus).
