Key Responsibilities

  • •Design efficient biological screening cascades for internal and partnered drug design programs.
  • •Optimize and implement biophysical and biochemical assays (including SPR, ITC, and enzymatic methods) to evaluate target interaction, potency, and specificity.
  • •Develop and refine functional and phenotypic cellular assays to advance target validation and mechanistic understanding.
  • •Partner with CROs to design decision-making experiments and deliver high-quality biological data to guide clinical paths.
  • •Evaluate and synthesize binding, kinetic, and dose-response information, and produce technical documentation to support IND-enabling data packages.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biophysics, or a related scientific discipline.
  • •Extensive experience designing and implementing biological screening cascades across drug design projects from hit identification to candidate selection.
  • •Deep knowledge of experimental in vitro pharmacology techniques, including biophysical, biochemical, and/or cellular assays.
  • •Ability to provide technical guidance in matrixed organizations and steer cross-functional programs through collaboration.
  • •Experience working with CROs to acquire and interpret high-quality biological data in a timely manner.
