Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site supervision of the MWD process, including tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, Quality Control, and customer service delivery.
  • •Support as a second man, assisting with accurate, timely data delivery that meets service quality standards.
  • •Assist in ensuring expected data and potential problems are communicated to the customer.
  • •Provide technical consultation to clients on mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, mud system, and BHA dynamics.
  • •Test tools and equipment before/during/after jobs, identify/correct operational problems, and complete required forms, databases, and reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three months of field experience in MWD.
  • •Preferred: a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
  • •Completion of the basic M/LWD training program.
  • •Successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements.
  • •Must possess relevant on and offshore safety certificates and demonstrate technical aptitude to required standards.
