Key Responsibilities

  • •Champion a safety-first culture by identifying hazards, mitigating risk, and following EHS protocols.
  • •Develop, document, and improve CNC machining processes, programs, and workflows for products.
  • •Optimize cycle times and machining parameters (toolpaths, feeds/speeds, work holding) to improve quality and throughput.
  • •Collaborate with production, quality, and metrology teams to resolve technical challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
  • •Analyze machining performance using SPC and capability studies; define control limits, support trials/qualifications, and drive RCA and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Optical, Materials, or related field).
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in optical fabrication process engineering or a related manufacturing environment.
  • •Hands-on experience with optics fabrication techniques, including CNC machining, polishing, and surface inspection.
  • •Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA) and lean manufacturing tools.
  • •Familiarity with metrology techniques and quality assurance in optics manufacturing.
