Job Summary

Lead shift production operations to drive manufacturing excellence, quality, and food safety. Manage teams and production group leaders to hit operational goals while building strong employee relations through training and recognition. Own safety and ergonomic programs, enforce OSHA/USDA standards, and ensure processes align with HACCP/SSOP requirements. Track labor/material costs, optimize resources and automation projects, control costs, and step in to maintain seamless operations across your plant or assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee all shift production operations and direct production group leaders to ensure smooth processes and achievement of operational goals.
•Implement and maintain safety and ergonomic programs, ensuring training, enforcement of safety rules, and hazard identification to reduce injuries.
•Maintain product quality and safety standards by ensuring processes align with HACCP and SSOP protocols and addressing product failures and foreign material issues.
•Track labor, material, and indirect costs to stay within budget while meeting or exceeding goals for yields and operational efficiencies.
•Ensure operating procedures are followed and updated; step in or delegate responsibilities when key personnel are absent to maintain operations.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 115,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years’ relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
•Experience using computer applications including time-keeping systems, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
•Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible hours as needed for operational demands.
•Open to travel up to 10% of the time.
