Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and delivery of next-generation AI platforms and experiences, ensuring consistency across implementations and building reusable frameworks for digital/mobile channel integration with secure, reliable, human-like interactions.
  • •Design and oversee intelligent automation solutions for banking operations such as KYC, compliance, customer service, and risk monitoring, including orchestration frameworks, agent workflows, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • •Oversee engineering and operationalization of generative AI, large language models, and embedding models across business use cases, including standardized deployment, monitoring, scaling, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
  • •Provide technical leadership for cloud-based AI and ML pipelines using Azure and AWS, including secure data storage, efficient processing, and deployment of foundation models and AI services using serverless and cloud-native approaches.
  • •Manage self and team in line with people management policies, organizing and supervising team activities, implementing departmental procedures, and motivating team contribution to change initiatives and business delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7 years leading AI/ML engineering, platform development, or large-scale digital product engineering for a large brand, with preference for digital-only banking or major digital transformation experience.
  • •Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions at enterprise scale, especially conversational AI and agent workflows, and scaling generative AI and enterprise ML platforms.
  • •Deep learning and LLM experience including multimodal models, RAG, vector databases, and agentic systems.
  • •Hands-on proficiency with programming and tools including Python, Azure/AWS, MLOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD), and data platform concepts (data lakes, knowledge graphs, vector DBs).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related); Master’s in AI/ML preferred.
