Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct flight safety surveys and audits of Bases when directed by the RSAF Director of Safety.
  • •Manage recording and analysis of aircraft accidents and incidents in the RSAF Safety Information System and recommend remedial actions.
  • •Prepare annual aircraft accident and occurrences summaries and safety presentations for the RSAF Director of Safety.
  • •Advise on establishing and evaluating flight safety programmes and support training-course selection for flight safety officers.
  • •Investigate aircraft accidents/incidents when required and prepare reports; support planning, organizing, and directing current and future flight safety programmes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Aero-Sciences with a Flight Safety/Ground Safety background and aircraft accident investigator experience.
  • •5+ years of experience in safety-related jobs, including senior supervisory appointment.
  • •Experience investigating aircraft accidents/incidents; Jet Engine Investigator should have participated in aircraft accident investigation boards as a President/Member.
  • •X-RSAF Pilot with 500 hours or more.
  • •Good awareness of RSAF procedures and programmes, including safety and airworthiness regulatory frameworks.
