Key Responsibilities

  • •Protect system technical integrity and accelerate problem-solving to deliver products meeting customer and warfighter needs.
  • •Drive system analysis, requirements development, design, system performance, integration, test, and qualification, including direct production engineering interface.
  • •Coordinate technical efforts across multiple disciplines and program efforts, including alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • •Serve as a senior technical interface internally and externally, influencing production efforts with customers, government organizations, partners, contractors, and suppliers.
  • •Support continuous improvement through Failure Review Boards, FRACAS management, and related engineering risk and opportunity activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM (STEM preferred) and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • •Experience leading full systems engineering lifecycle activities across development and production.
  • •Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers technically and with their career.
  • •Ability to interpret internal and external customer requirements and decompose them into actionable direction.
  • •Raytheon Level 4 (or higher) Certified Lead Systems Engineer or equivalent senior technical leadership experience.
