Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain .NET Core RESTful APIs that expose REDS capabilities to underwriting, modelling, and reporting consumers.
  • •Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, secure, cloud-native services on Azure.
  • •Integrate .NET services with Databricks, Azure SQL, PostGIS, message queues, and internal Zurich platforms.
  • •Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, and secure coding practices.
  • •Collaborate in an agile delivery model and help modernize legacy components by migrating to the cloud-native target architecture.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in international environments and financial services (banking or insurance).
  • •Strong experience with .NET (latest LTS, .NET 8 preferred) and extensive .NET Core RESTful API development in production.
  • •Solid experience with Entity Framework and Repository / Unit of Work patterns.
  • •Strong T-SQL / MS SQL skills (SELECT/UPDATE, joins, stored procedures and triggers).
  • •Hands-on experience with Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure PaaS services, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
