Key Responsibilities

  • •Solve complex substation design issues to support projects across the full lifecycle, including closeout.
  • •Propose solutions for issues outside established design criteria, including recommendations for updated design criteria and technical manuals/specifications.
  • •Develop alternative methods or design concepts to resolve unique problems or improve processes and services.
  • •Serve as a recognized expert/SME for important projects and initiatives across AVANGRID, including managing portions of projects such as material procurement.
  • •Lead teams and act as an experienced mentor; review engineering work and manage/supply direction to resources and outside engineering firms as needed.
