Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections on heavy equipment, tactical vehicles, and MHE during the turn-in process.
  • •Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults and complete corrective repairs and adjustments.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with Army technical manuals and safety/environmental regulations.
  • •Maintain work orders, parts requisitions, and job completion records using Army-approved forms and systems.
  • •Identify unserviceable/non-repairable equipment, support condition coding/disposition documentation, and assist during mass turn-in events.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Proficiency diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults.
  • •Ability to read and interpret Army technical manuals (TMs), schematics, and technical drawings.
  • •Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance following Army TMs/DA PAM 750-8/AR 750-1 and complete PMCS.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
