Job Summary

Build and maintain scalable backend applications and data-driven APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI (preferred) or Django. Own RESTful API and microservice development, including performance, scalability, reliability, and secure integrations with third-party systems. Design authentication/authorization using OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, and SSO (where applicable), manage data validation and database schemas, and support testing and CI/CD pipelines with Docker and cloud platforms when required.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using FastAPI, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
•Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications, implementing business logic and service integrations.
•Design secure, well-documented APIs including API versioning, error handling, throttling, and monitoring.
•Perform data validation, transformation, and integrity checks as part of application workflows, including database schema design and optimization.
•Develop and maintain tests (unit/integration/API) and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation; use containers and cloud platforms when required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong Python programming experience (3+ years preferred).
•Hands-on experience with FastAPI (preferred) or Django / Django REST Framework.
•Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services, including authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC).
•Strong SQL and database design experience, plus experience integrating external systems through APIs.
