Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a locomotive/trackmobile to move rail cars and perform control room panel batching operator functions.
  • •Coordinate switching activities, including moving cars between tracks, coupling railcars, and managing clearances.
  • •Walk the track to monitor conditions and report irregularities to management.
  • •Accurately record dispatch/data and operate scales to document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system.
  • •Unload feed ingredients, route to storage silos, run quality analysis, perform minor maintenance, maintain housekeeping, and follow health/safety and biosecurity protocols.
