Job Summary

Lead civil and structural design and site supervision on renewable energy projects in the UK, acting as Owners Engineer/Technical Advisor across wind, PV and BESS. Responsibilities include design review, site supervision, QA, and coordination through design, construction and commissioning phases to ensure safe, compliant and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out construction phase inspections, including foundation pre-pour inspections and post-pour inspections.
•Assisting with project administration tasks such as client meetings, progress reporting and technical queries.
•Reviewing BoP contractor’s civil infrastructure designs (tracks, hardstands, foundations, control buildings, etc).
•Contribution to H&S management, including review of RAMS and other construction documents such as a Construction Environmental Management Plans or Traffic Management Plans.
•Managing construction project quality assurance and document control across multiple projects.

Key Requirements

•Civil Engineering qualification; Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE
•Experience of design and construction in renewable projects
•Basic understanding of GIS, InfraWorks and AutoCAD software
•Combined site experience with knowledge of CDM Regulations, health and safety, on-site civil construction experience and reinforcement detailing/checking
•SMSTS or NEC4 Supervision accreditation is preferred but not required (training will be given)
