Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and execute projects to develop products and technologies for applications in the construction and automotive industries.
  • •Design and characterize minimum viable products using thermoplastic processing techniques and chemical-analytical and physical testing methods.
  • •Support practical implementation of project results toward commercial use, including troubleshooting formulation or processing issues.
  • •Research and assess technical state-of-the-art by evaluating scientific literature, patents, chemical databases, and market information.
  • •Analyze experimental data, document results, and prepare technical reports, presentations, and patent applications, engaging external partners and leading agile project teams.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc (preferably PhD) in Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering, with solid expertise in polymer chemistry, polymer physics, or polymer engineering.
  • •Proficiency in practical laboratory work and classical analytical testing methods (NMR, GPC, HPLC, DSC); practical thermoplastic processing experience is a plus.
  • •Basic knowledge in project management.
  • •First practical experience in industrial R&D is a plus.
  • •Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
