Key Responsibilities

  • •Derive, analyse, document, and manage RF system/equipment requirements.
  • •Develop simple RF system/equipment architectural designs aligned to manufacturing, maintenance, and support lifecycle needs.
  • •Perform functional and circuit analysis to assess strengths and weaknesses of RF solutions.
  • •Integrate and validate RF system/equipment designs, contributing to integration/validation plans and reports.
  • •Assemble and test prototype hardware and test support systems in a cross-functional engineering team.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree-level qualifications in an Engineering discipline (or similar).
  • •Demonstrated experience in RF engineering, including developing RF equipment designs and contributing to design reviews.
  • •Experience with modelling tools such as Altair Feko and Ansys HFSS.
  • •Proficiency in test and measurement of RF devices using vector network analysers and standard test equipment.
  • •Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain one, including eligibility to be cleared for ITAR regulations; ability to travel to BAE Systems locations as needed.
