Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute battery commodity strategies focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
  • •Drive end-to-end delivery of quality battery parts at the right cost and act as the sourcing expert for battery manufacturing.
  • •Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes, including managing external contract manufacturing relationships for continuity of supply and risk management.
  • •Perform quote analysis using cost breakdowns and data-driven TCO decisions to guide component and supplier selections.
  • •Partner with Engineering and contract manufacturers to influence technical specs, manage supplier performance metrics, negotiate key supplier agreements, and conduct regular technology reviews.

Salary: USD 253,000 - 336,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •12+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management for batteries manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering.
  • •Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
