Lead lighting design teams on highways, industrial, and public lighting projects. Drive health, safety and welfare of staff, ensure on-time delivery, mentor juniors, manage resources and budgets, and liaison with UK leadership to promote GCC success while delivering high-quality lighting solutions across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee lighting design for highways, industrial facilities, decorative lighting, sports facilities, car parks and amenity areas, ensuring designs meet required standards and quality.
•Lead site surveys, desktop studies, environmental lighting impact assessments and other pre-design activities to support project delivery.
•Manage business development activities including attendance at CPD events, client liaison, and updating policies and procedures.
•Provide regular status updates on project progress, risks, and issues to line managers and project managers, and address client concerns.
•Train, supervise and mentor graduate engineers and technicians, coordinating with CAD teams and other design disciplines to ensure timely delivery.

Key Requirements

•At least a BEng in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or Electronics and Telecom) with 13-15 years of experience
•Chartered Engineer status
•Experience delivering lighting design for highways, industrial facilities, decorative lighting, and public spaces
•Strong knowledge of UK lighting standards and CDM/Health & Safety requirements
•Proficiency with lighting design software including Lighting Reality, Dialux, AutoCAD and Amtech
