Job Summary

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical and electrical projects for data center facilities. Own project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions. Manage vendors and procurement for MEP equipment and services, run technical reviews of designs and specifications, and lead risk identification and mitigation. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and data center standards through site inspections, documentation, and stakeholder reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical and electrical projects from initiation through completion to meet data center operational requirements.
•Create and manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, including monitoring progress and corrective actions.
•Manage vendor relationships and procurement for mechanical/electrical equipment, materials, and services, including contract negotiation and specification compliance.
•Conduct technical reviews of mechanical and electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with data center standards and best practices.
•Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans and keep stakeholders informed via regular meetings and reports.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years managing mechanical and/or electrical projects in data centers or similar infrastructure environments.
•Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling, power distribution) and electrical systems for data center operations.
•Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet (or equivalent).
•Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
•Understanding of data center infrastructure and industry standards (ANSI/TIA, ISO 14644).
