Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical and electrical projects from initiation through completion to meet data center operational requirements.
  • •Create and manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, including monitoring progress and corrective actions.
  • •Manage vendor relationships and procurement for mechanical/electrical equipment, materials, and services, including contract negotiation and specification compliance.
  • •Conduct technical reviews of mechanical and electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with data center standards and best practices.
  • •Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans and keep stakeholders informed via regular meetings and reports.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years managing mechanical and/or electrical projects in data centers or similar infrastructure environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling, power distribution) and electrical systems for data center operations.
  • •Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet (or equivalent).
  • •Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
  • •Understanding of data center infrastructure and industry standards (ANSI/TIA, ISO 14644).
