Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day materials management activities and supervise Materials Management teams.
  • •Perform administrative duties such as approving timecards, scheduling, periodic reviews, maintaining stocking levels, and mentoring/training direct reports.
  • •Implement logistics and inventory practices including transportation options, kitting strategy, inventory strategy, and work order management.
  • •Support and maintain metric goals for the Production Coordinator and Inventory teams.
  • •Conduct safety walkthroughs, address safety issues, and interface with Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control, Transportation, Planning, and Purchasing to resolve material receipt and distribution problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing; or 4+ years in the same areas in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing to support logistics and inventory processes.
  • •Ability to work all shifts, extended hours, and/or weekends as needed.
  • •Ability to perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted and working standing/climbing/bending as required.
  • •U.S. Government export regulations compliance (ITAR) eligibility, including being a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident or eligible for required authorizations.
