Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace parts.
  • •Inspect supplied product against drawings and work order specifications to verify design conformance.
  • •Perform complex inspections using standardized methods for visual and dimensional checks.
  • •Work with production to improve products, reduce defects, and communicate quality-related issues.
  • •Document non-conformances and support the quality management system, compliance to standards, and continual improvement/Lean initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •5+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop.
  • •1+ years of experience with blueprint reading, shop math and GD&T.
  • •Experience with DCC (direct computer controlled) CMM using PC-DMIS software.
  • •Understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management systems (preferred).
