Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and facilitate detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and/or construction for a range of project types.
  • •Supervise development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations tied to design documents, contract drawings/specifications, and contract changes.
  • •Review and report on contract estimates from consultants and recommend whether an estimate is appropriate for client implementation.
  • •Review contractor proposals against scope of work, determine fair and reasonable value, and delineate costs by trade and discipline.
  • •Plan, assign, and review cost estimating work; participate in cost negotiations and collaborate with discipline engineers for change order estimating.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in architecture, construction management, engineering, business, environmental services, or related coursework.
  • •5+ years of full-time technical experience in estimating areas of architecture, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
  • •Strong client focus.
  • •Responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds/resources and adherence to the company Code of Conduct and policies.
  • •Proven track record upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
