Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and direct electrical maintenance for all areas of the Lucky Friday mine, including troubleshooting, inspections, testing, and repairs.
  • •Administer maintenance activities to ensure compliance with MSHA and all applicable federal/state laws, company policies, and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • •Manage hourly electrician work activities to implement electrical maintenance plans and ensure safe work behaviors.
  • •Ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs to maximize availability and monitor safe operation of electrical systems.
  • •Plan, organize, manage, and supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance operations, including reliability/integrity of electrical systems, contractors, and required reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of experience in mining or a related industry, or a degree in Electrical (or equivalent experience/education).
  • •Supervisory experience directing the work of others.
  • •Journeyman Electrician certification in Idaho or a reciprocal state (preferred).
  • •Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • •Prior underground mine experience (preferred).
