Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform cleaning, monitoring, and securing operations to support vacuum atomization furnace set-up and runs.
  • •Follow verbal and written instructions to carry out repetitive tasks before, after, and during the atomization process.
  • •Prepare raw material charges, operate the furnace control board, and assist with minor repairs and housekeeping duties.
  • •Remove and replace furnace lid and coils; clean the atomization chamber and O-ring seal; maintain crucibles by cleaning and patching cracks.
  • •Use an electric hoist to manage furnace components and assist with attachment/detachment of gas, electric, and water lines while complying with CORE and EH&S requirements.
