Key Responsibilities

•Manage complex nuclear waste management projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
•Provide technical leadership and expertise in nuclear waste management, including waste characterisation, treatment, storage, and disposal.
•Develop and implement waste management strategies, plans, and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
•Conduct and oversee technical assessments, risk evaluations, and feasibility studies to support project decision-making.
•Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Requirements

•Minimum HNC qualification, preferably with a relevant science or engineering degree
•Extensive relevant experience with strong technical knowledge and leadership capability
•Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality outcomes
•Strong understanding of engineering design principles and their application in complex projects
•Experience in waste management studies, decommissioning strategy development, or regulatory/compliance activities
