Job Summary

Support the sales organization as a Systems Engineer for a defined territory, owning technical activities throughout the sales cycle. Lead technical evaluation from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, participate in POCs with internal and customer/commercial partner teams, and act as the primary technical contact. Build customer solutions that outperform competitors, deepen product and competitive expertise, and confidently present via whiteboarding and technical documents while managing multiple deals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs.
•Listen to and understand customer technical requirements to build solutions that outperform competitors.
•Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and the competitive landscape.
•Position Fortinet solutions to customers remotely or in person and manage multiple deals to maintain a positive customer experience.

Key Requirements

•Have strong aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN.
•Currently or previously worked in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrate problem-solving skills and how they impacted key wins.
•Understand and be able to build and maintain customer relationships, communicating technically with external and internal stakeholders.
•Fluency in English is a must.
