Job Summary

Drive GTM strategy and operations for Base on the Base Marketing team, positioning Base as the leading Layer 2 for bringing the world onchain. Own priority product and audience launches, lead cross-functional execution across Product, BD, CDP, DevRel, Comms, Legal, and Compliance, and run marketing operations and cadence. Manage a small PMM team, shape global events including Base Batches, and measure launch and adoption performance to optimize ongoing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Own GTM strategy and execution for priority products and audiences, including positioning, messaging, and launch planning to drive measurable adoption.
•Lead cross-functional launches with Product, BD, CDP, DevRel, Comms, Legal, and Compliance by translating technical capabilities into clear narratives for developers and builders.
•Drive marketing operations for the team, including planning, prioritization, process design, and operating cadence to keep work on time.
•Manage a team of up to 2 PMMs in a player-coach capacity, setting quality standards while personally owning key workstreams.
•Shape Base’s global events strategy and define/report launch performance metrics, including adoption, pipeline influence, and partner amplification.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 205,785 - 242,100 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years in product marketing or GTM roles, including directly leading and managing a marketing team with measurable adoption or revenue outcomes.
•Own end-to-end GTM launches from strategy through execution, with demonstrated results driving product adoption or pipeline growth.
•Run marketing operations and/or events at scale, delivering both daily operating rhythm and high-visibility moments.
•Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to distill complex, technical concepts into compelling narratives for developer and builder audiences.
•Fluency in onchain products (payments, stablecoins, tokenization, custody) and comfort partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
