  • •Build and enhance automated, AI-first processes for legal e-billing and outside counsel management.
  • •Drive implementation of outside counsel (OC) spend strategy by benchmarking law firm billing rates and fee structures.
  • •Own monthly accruals and legal vendor onboarding workflows in partnership with FP&A.
  • •Administer and optimize the legal e-billing system (Brightflag), including stakeholder training.
  • •Analyze OC spend data to produce reports, scorecards, and insights, and manage law firm onboarding.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years managing outside counsel in an in-house legal practice, preferably at a high-growth technology company.
  • •Experience managing legal accruals, forecasting inputs, and month-end processes in partnership with FP&A.
  • •Hands-on experience with legal e-billing platforms (Brightflag or comparable) and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliation and analysis.
  • •Ability to project manage operational initiatives end-to-end, including process design, tool implementation, and vendor onboarding workflows.
  • •Experience with data tools (SQL, Snowflake, Looker, or similar) to build reports and dashboards that drive spend visibility and decision-making.
