Key Responsibilities

  • •Support data center site selection tasks and perform technical compliance evaluation of design submissions from data center providers.
  • •Collaborate with external providers and internal subject matter experts to deliver technical inputs during design reviews of critical systems and related disciplines.
  • •Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are incorporated into data center infrastructure design and data hall fit-out.
  • •Participate in follow-up of data center construction and fit-out works, including testing and commissioning of critical systems (review test scripts, witness on-site tests) and handover to operations.
  • •Work with data center operations and the design team to troubleshoot and optimize design standards, support localization of standards and equipment specifications, and assist with ad-hoc project management tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •At least 5 years of relevant large-scale data center or mission-critical building design experience.
  • •Experience with data center design principles such as power and cooling calculations and redundancy.
  • •Some travel to data center sites is required.
  • •Relevant experience designing and deploying advanced electrical/liquid-cooling technologies; Certified Chartered/Professional Engineer is preferred.
