Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data from the site, surveys, blueprints, schematics, and other sources to support drafting and design activities on projects of moderate to large scope.
  • •Use 3D CAD software and work with engineers to resolve design details and prepare drawings with precision.
  • •Follow standard practices to illustrate fit, form, function, tolerances, and quantity calculations to ensure constructability and maintainability of designs.
  • •Serve as a drafting/design resource on projects and assist in overseeing activities within a district as needed.
  • •Verify calculations, design interpretations, and change orders; escalate issues when necessary and resolve technical problems.

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years of post-education drafting/design support experience.

  • •Ability to perform technical computations involving geometry and math concepts, understand plans and specifications, and compare to standards.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
