Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and distribute informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling and other electronic modes of communication (web-based chat, video-enabled platforms) as authorized.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations according to DoD protocol.
  • •Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision; share trends and issues across installations.
  • •Participate in in-services/training and quality improvement activities as assigned.
  • •Perform all other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; associate degree plus 4 years experience may be considered
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English
  • •If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish
  • •One of AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications
